Cupido was the theme of my graduation movie, illustrating how we can perceive things differently depending on how we view them. One trait can be good to one person but frustrating or wrong to another.
Since I am an adoptee myself, I appreciated the aspect of a changeling, which is a big trope in fantasy stories. The concept gave me another layer to view the story through.
During my graduation at the HKU (Utrecht School of the Higher Arts), I completed a project focusing on two brothers who leave a toxic household. The story revolves around their journey to discover who they truly are.
Also, I like to make stories about childhood experiences. For the next project, I took the feeling of playing video games while sick. Do we ever wish to become someone greater who can fix the problems around us?

I gained my first television breakthrough with a well-known Dutch television program. I worked on animation with an old college and we were inspired by the animated movie Secret of Kells.
